Racing Car Bed - £299
Every bed that we make is individually finished for the customer in our Surrey workshop. The car bed is 205cms long by 99cms wide and is designed to accommodate a standard size 190cms by 90cms adult mattress, the slats which support the mattress are of solid pine, thicker and wider than those on a mass produced bed, these are supported on generous timber side rails, providing a very robust and solid structure. The size of the bed can be reduced upon request by 15cms in both dimensions, to fit the next size down of commercially available mattress, which we can supply.
There is a choice of colours for the main panels of the bed from red, black, blue or white, with a wide choice of colours for the graphics. Each bed has a personalised number plate. A number or name may also be added on each side at no additional cost.Naturally all our beds meet every modern safety standard, all paints used in the manufacture are child friendly, non-toxic. The sides of the car bed sweep up at the rear to give maximum roll out protection for your child, in any case the mattress to floor height is lower than on a conventional adult bed.The bed has a very durable wipe-clean finish and many times our customers have told us that after several years use the bed looks like new, so passing it on to the next generation should not be a problem, especially as any personalisation can be easily changed.
Each bed has a lifetime guarantee while in the original ownership, obviously this is in addition to normal statutory rights.All the beds in our range are made by us and we take pride in the quality and finish of our products as well as the fact that where possible the materials and components used will have been sourced in the UK.
